FALSE 'CHRISTIAN' CHURCHES
Any religion claiming to be the one true church is, without a doubt, a false
one.
They usually claim credit for salvation rather than giving that honor to
Christ.
This is revealed when they say one cannot leave their religion and still be
saved.
One must decide whether the church they attend is their
salvation;
or whether it
is Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Any religion teaching
truth speaks
that one can attend any they desire, but hold fast to Christ wherever they
belong.
These are true churches, but not THE true church.
There are churches claiming
to be in Christ when in reality they have
little, if anything, to do with the things that
Jesus taught. These have a form of
godliness but deny the power thereof.
They are so far into their own
man made rules and ideas that they no longer follow
the doctrines of
Jesus and have gone astray; being more like the scribes and
Pharisees than
the apostles. They are the lost sheep spoken of in
the bible.
If they knew they were lost they would get found by the
word, but they
are usually too proud to accept good teaching. The
following bible study
reveals the falsehoods of these churches. Do not
stand on opinion, mine or
anyone
else's. If it isn't bible based, it can't hold water OR BLOOD.
God loves you and wants the best for
you. You may be in one of these
type churches yet be one of His; but be advised, you would do
better in a
true bible based body of believers. My people perish
for lack of knowledge.
Is it coincidence that one of the largest progenitors of false teachings
started in Rome, the very place that tried to destroy the Jews? Could it
be
that
its true purpose, unknowingly, is to destroy the true church too? I’m
sure
there are many in this church that are heaven bound; but God says
that
his people
perish for lack of knowledge. Many will come in the name
of
Christ, saying Jesus is the Christ, and shall
deceive many, MT 24:5.
FALSE TEACHINGS
Following are some
false teachings with the scriptures revealing they are untrue.
Some of these teachings are in good churches.
PRAYER IS A MEMORIZED GROUP OF WORDS
THE LORD'S PRAYER (Mt 6:9-14)
Mt 6:9 Pray after this manner
(This was a format, not something to memorize.
It is the Lords prayer, not ours.)
Mt 6:7 When you pray, DO NOT use vain
repetitions
This is what the HEATHEN do
They think they will be heard for their much speaking
Mt 15:8 This people honors me with their lips
but their heart is far
from me
Mt 15:9 In vain they worship me, teaching for doctrine the
commandments of men
(Heathens, pray in
repetitions and follow mans doctrine. Don't waste
your words. Make them count by speaking your own from your heart to God.)
PRAYING TO STATUES, SAINTS, MARY, ETC. IS OK
Mt 6:6 Pray in secret
Mt 6:6 Pray to the FATHER
(We aren't to have
any statues. see Idols)
CALL A PASTOR FATHER
Mt 23:9 Call no man your father upon earth,
for one is your father,
which is in heaven

PRIESTS ARE MADE BY A CHURCH
I Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are
built up a spiritual house, a holy
priesthood, to offer
up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by
Jesus Christ
I Pe 2:9 Ye are a
chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,
a peculiar people
Rev 1:5-6 Jesus washed us and made us kings
and priests unto God
the Father
(Any true believer is a priest. A priest makes
offerings to God.)
SAINTS ARE THOSE WHO ARE CANONIZED BY A CHURCH
Phil 4:22 All the saints salute you, chiefly
they that are of Caesar’s
household
II Cor 9:1 As
concerning the ministering to the saints
(These, and many other scriptures, make it clear
that the saints are on the
earth too. Saint and holy are the same word in the original text.
Any true believer is
a saint.)
THE LAW AND/OR OLD TESTAMENT DOESN’T APPLY TODAY
Mt 5:17 Jesus came to fulfill the law not
destroy it

tittle shall pass from the law till all
be
fulfilled
(This would
also include the ten
commandments, which is not
politically correct today.)

(The law was basically the seven feasts of God and
Jesus fulfilled them by
his life, death, and resurrection. see feasts)
THE LAW IS FOR THE JEWS (HEBREWS/ISRAEL)
Rom 11:17 We, being the wild olive branch, are
grafted into Israel, the
true olive tree
Rom 11:18 Thou barest not the root, but the
root barest thee
Jn 15:5 I am the
vine, ye are the branches
(Jesus was a Jew, is a Jew, and forever shall be a
Jew. If one is a
Christian then he
is adopted into the family of the Jew. Therefore the law
would apply to
us even if
it was and is for the Jewish nation.)
MARY HAS SOME SPECIAL PRAYER GRANTING AUTHORITY
Mt 12:46 Jesus’ mother and brothers came to
the house where
he was talking and desired
to speak to him
Mt 12:47 He was told of it
Mt 12:48 Jesus said, who are my mother and
brothers?
Mt 12:49 Whosoever shall do the will of my
Father in heaven, the
same is my brother,
sister, and mother

Jesus' mother was blessed but more correctly is to say that
they who hear AND KEEP the word of God are blessed.
(It wasn’t even this Mary that was first to the tomb
after Jesus’ resurrection.

be the false teachings that are so prevalent in the body

(This is the once a week church goer, giving God one
hour of their precious time.)

him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall
(These spoken of are Israel as led out
of Egypt, but they are a picture and shadow of the
church. Their fall was the loss of the kingdom.)
WARNING TO THE CHURCH
Lk 8:4-18 The
sower of the seeds = 3 out of 4 Christians don’t
make it
(A close look shows that each one heard and believed
the word.)
Lk 6:46 Why call
ye me lord and do not the things that I say
(God loves you and wants a
relationship. Do not follow false teachings, false teachers,
or your own opinions. The bible tells just what God
said and it is that word that God
goes by. God will not follow the teachings of some man,
God can only tell truth. Truth
never changes. If God follows some man's way, he
becomes a liar because He has not
followed what He said in His word. God cannot lie.
Get into the word and know what
God said. Do this with a good bible. see
God's Word)
CATHOLICISM
I AM OF PETER
1
Cor 1:12 Now this I say,
that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas;
and I of Christ. 13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you?
(I
point out this religion because I am aware, being in it many years.
I also say that many other religions follow a man rather than Jesus. This
religion
says it is the true church because Peter founded it, though they have not
built on the foundation
that Peter laid. It
considers itself infallible.
I must say that I love Catholics, but I hate their false teachings. Their
bible even
strays from truth and has become lies in part. To know truth, one must
know
what the original texts of the Jewish writers said. The closest one is King James.
Mt 16:13 Jesus asked his disciples who
men say that he is
Mt 16:14 They answer
Mt 16:15 Jesus asked them whom they
think that he is|
Mt 16:16 Simon Peter answered that he was the
Christ, the son
of God
Mt 16:17 Jesus said that Simon
Barjona was blessed because
God the Father had revealed it to him

upon this rock
(a mass of
rock) I will build my church
Please note that:
1. Simon has a revelation
2. Simon is blessed to have such revelation
3. Simon becomes Peter (Peter means a piece
of rock)
because of the revelation
4. Christ will build HIS church, not Peter’s
5. Christ builds it on this rock
(means mass of rock)
6. The mass of rock is:
What was revealed (Christ)
All the disciples, not one, who have
the revelation
7. We now have a mass of rock, of which
Peter is
only a part
Mt 16:18 The gates of hell will not prevail against
the church,
built upon the mass of rock
Mt 16:19 I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom
of heaven
(They were given to the church, not Peter.
Considering what the other
apostles
did and wrote, not to mention Paul; one can’t possibly
believe
that the word thee doesn’t include all the apostles.)
Mt 16:19 Whatsoever thou shall bind on earth is
bound
in heaven, and
whatsoever thou shall loose on earth
is loosed in heaven.
(The binding part of this verse is tied to the keys part by
the word. This being the case, a look at Mt 18:15-18
reveals that the
loosing part is definitely to the entire church.)
Mt 16:20 Then Jesus charged his disciples (not Peter only)
that
they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
(Apparently they all knew who he was, not just Peter.
It just happened that Peter answered.)
Mt 16:21 From that point on, Jesus showed his
disciples that he
would be
killed and raised again.
(Of the churches claiming to follow the bible, when
they are in conflict with
scripture they just say that it was tradition handed
down
from man to man. This
is actually admitting that they are following
the doctrine
of men rather than God.
This is dangerous to ones eternal
destiny.)
MORMONISM
The Bible isn’t complete?
Deu 4:2 Ye shall
not add to the word which I command you,
neither
diminish aught from it
Deu 4:32 What
thing so ever I command you, observe to do
it: thou
shall not add thereto nor diminish from it

thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee

thou be found a liar
Rev 22:18 I testify unto every man that
heareth the words of the
prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these
things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written
in
this book
Other books of Christ?
Mica 4: 2 The word shall go forth from
Jerusalem
(The bottom line is that anyone who is reading and studying the bible
(seeking) would not fall for these falsehoods. Only the unlearned one
could be tricked.
That is why man has no excuse. It is all there,
but men would rather listen to another
man then to search for
themselves. This is NOT SEEKING.
We have the warnings
but they
aren’t heeded.)
OTHER FALSEHOODS
Limbo where babies go………………………no such place

Peter was the first pope………………………not so
One church/religion is the only way...................not so
HISTORICAL FACTS
If one looks in history he will find that in 300AD there were 4 bishops
(to
use
the word bishop in the Catholic context) fighting to be the one in
control. They
were at Rome, Constantinople, Antioch, and Alexandria.
The bishop at Rome
won out because he had the Romans on his side. He also
said that Peter and Paul
died there, so the church built over their graves
became head. Constantine
did much to help also. If the Jews and
true
Christians were being persecuted up
until 300AD, how is it that the
Bishops
in question were not killed with them? It
would seem that those in the
forefront would be the first to go. They were more
like the Pharisees
than
the true Christians. The Pharisees were in with Rome and
did as they
wanted.
They were more a part of the system, then
they were of the
family of God.
At any rate, there was still no pope in
Rome.)
Acts 15:all Here
is an example of the council of the church being at
Jerusalem and
all the apostles, including Peter, were there.
Rev 1:all John is
told to send his message to the seven churches.
Rome is
not mentioned. This was around 97AD. I think that
Jesus would have
sent one
to Rome if it really had some
significant importance.
