THE
DRAGON IN TODAY’S WORLD
The dragon seems to have been cast into the earth, and
appears to be caught by his tail. The day is coming, however, when he will be released. This
will be when the church is gone.
It now has all power over all power of the enemy. When the seventh week of
Jacob’s trouble starts, this power will be gone. It will then be up to God.
That is the issue between God and Israel. He wants them to be dependent on Him
alone. The power of the church is also dependent on their full obedience and
trust in God and his word. If one is not submitted to
Him, the power is not present either. This is also the difference between His
people, Israel,
and His family, the church. There is a physical and a spiritual element to each
respectively.
Another element to this battle between God and the dragon is the
bruising of his
head. Notice that Rome and Italy actually form the back of his head. If an
asteroid took
out Rome, it would take out the entire region. This would also reconstruct his
head if there
was one left. I’m not predicting anything; I’m just making some interesting
observations.
God is so willing to show himself and his word to anyone who is willing to look,
listen and
seek. If there was a total reconstruction of the area, Israel would no longer
be the tail; which
is their present location.
