GOD'S WORD (THE BIBLE)
First, let me say that not all bibles are the
same. Some have interpreted
God's word on their own and written it as such. The true word of God is
the Hebrew of the Old Testament and Greek and Aramaic of the New
Testament. The King James, New American Standard, and The New
International Version are the best. They are closer to the original and
not interpreted for you. The King James has The Strongs Exhaustive
Concordance as a side book. This book takes every word in the KJV
and gives the original word from the original manuscripts and gives its
meaning. It also has every scripture that has that word in it. This
is great
for bible study when one seeks what God is truly saying.
Too many Christians today deny the
total truth of the bible, the word
of God. The percentage of people who call themselves Christians and
still
say there was no virgin birth, or that Jesus didn't raise, or that the bible
was written by
men and therefore fallible is staggering. If one believes in
the bible, it has to be
all the way or not at all. One cannot decide which
parts one wants to believe and which not to.
This is basing the bible on
their preconceived notions and opinions rather than their opinions
on the
word of God. This portion of this bible study site is dedicated to the word,
scripture, and it's being the infallible word of God.
It will be shown why one should know
the word for a purpose other
than gaining the fruit of the spirit. I am speaking of putting the
word of God
in your heart, not just in your mind through memorization. In all honesty, I
must say that memorizing the scriptures does little good. If it isn't in the heart,
it won't have the faith to accomplish it's intended purpose. Hiding it in the
heart is as simple as asking God (Jesus) for the truth and understanding of
his word. If one is serious,
God will be too. I have spent no time in
memorization, yet when I need the word for some
purpose, there it is. I
have grown to love the word and nothing in this world is more
exciting than
finding some little nugget of truth. It's like opening a
Christmas present
when one is a child. It can be that way with you if you just make a decision
to
know Jesus. I'm not talking about knowing him for what you can get
either. My
brother told me the other day that he used to think 'when are
you going to shut up about that God stuff'. Now, some 8 months later, he
loves it too. I didn't push, I just love to
talk about God and Jesus. Now
he does too. It only takes wanting to, then it happens.
It's easy. See the
section "THE NAME JESUS" in
this bible study for more pertinent
information.
God's word is full of promises but to
receive them, one must take
the rest of his word too. The promises come with demands and warnings
of denying his demands. If one takes it all, he finds the promises for they
are
denied us if we do not accept the rest. It is not that we pay a price
for them but rather become part of the family. If we choose not to do
the whole word, we also decide not to be
part of the family, just like it
would be here on earth if one of our children decided
to go out on their
own rather than live by the rules of our household. It's
not that we kick
them our, though we might, but they make the choice.
THE BIBLE CODES
I have heard some men on the radio say that they didn’t believe
in
them because the vowels can be put in as one wants to, achieving the desired
result.
If this is their
feeling, maybe they should disregard the entire Old
Testament. The
same Hebrew
words
and understanding applied to the
Old Testament are used
to find the hidden
messages in the Codes. Is God
sovereign over his word or not? Is God capable
of doing what the Codes
appear to do? One must believe in the awesomeness of
God’s abilities
before one can believe in the codes. I, for one,
am fully persuaded that
God is able to
put layer upon
layer in his word. The
findings in the codes
are all lining up with what the
text says on the surface so
I don’t understand
the unbelief.
When one takes the EDLS of the codes and the result is a line of
letters
that is
the same as a line of letters on the surface, why wouldn’t they
mean the
same
thing?
We are talking Hebrew here but if it was in English
would weave the same
opinion?
Let’s say, for instance, that out of the
words that I
have just written one
takes every
fifth letter and the result is
(it isn’t but we’re using an example)
T-H-E-W-O-R-D-I-S-T-R-U-E.
Since we are talking English here, we would
most certainly believe that what
was said is “the word
is true”. If the same
belief is
applied to the Hebrew
and the result is a line of
letters that says what we
believe the surface says,
why wouldn’t the code line of
letters be saying the same
thing? I find it
harder to believe that God couldn’t,
then to believe that he could. I
hope
you can see
what I am saying here. We
are talking about God, not man.
If the vowels are
missing
from the original text
and it says what it says,
what’s the difference if they
are missing
from the codes?
For those who do not know what I’m talking about; there is a work
being done today, where one takes letters from the original Hebrew language
of the
Old Testament at an Equal Distant Letter Sequence (EDLS) and
the
result is another line of words.
Often times these words are about the very
subject of the surface text. The
odds of
this happening by chance are way
beyond possibility. God must have put them
there
just as he wanted them.
This was the very reason that God warned three times in
the
Bible not to
change one jot or one tittle. This meant that even the punctuation
was
extremely important. Why was God so particular about his word? If it said
the
same thing, what was the big deal? One would be cursed if they changed
anything
at all.
We are talking about men of God who are doing this work. It isn’t
some
skeptic that is doing this work. If these are men of God, then why
would God
let them continue with this work if it wasn’t real? I speak of
one man in
particular, Yacov
Rambsel. This man loves God above all else.
He has seen things in the
codes
that go way beyond what can be written
down. He has seen, in an instant,
what would
take more than the day to
get it written. When God tells him to
search a
certain area
for what he
seeks, there it is. The devil doesn’t know the
word like God, and
would
certainly not give God glory for being able to do
such a thing. So where is
this phenomenon coming from? It is either by chance,
by the devil, by
man, or
by God. I choose to believe the latter. God is able. This marvel
is to reveal
the truth of the Bible and the reality that it is the word
of God
himself. I choose to
believe.
